The Dorflinger Glass Museum acquires glass by donation directly from a donor, through purchase when funds are available or by “adoption.” Gifts of glass may be made through “adoption” if the donor gives money to replace funds used to purchase items when they are available. Adoption makes it easy for a donor to see exactly what he or she is giving.

Cash donations of any amount are also greatly appreciated. Such donations are used for upkeep of the museum, maintenance of the collections, and educational materials. To possibly qualify for an IRS tax deduction, donations should be made to the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary, Inc./Museum.
