Dorflinger-Suydam

Dorflinger-Suydam is a non-profit organization with a mission to offer our region and its guests unique experiences to connect with nature, the arts, history, and each other. We offer the region a 600-acre wildlife sanctuary, a glass museum, that is home to one of the nation’s largest collections of Dorflinger glass, outdoor concerts in July and August, and the preservation of historic sites and buildings in White Mills.

Wildlife Sanctuary

Since 1980, the nearly 600-acre grounds of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary have preserved the natural beauty and wildlife of northeastern Pennsylvania.

The Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary offers approximately five miles of nature trails for observing indigenous wildlife and waterfowl.

Glass Museum

The museum maintains elegant displays of fine cut, etched, engraved, gilded and enameled crystal produced in Christian Dorflinger’s factories between 1852 and 1921. An on-site gift shop features an array of wares including glass jewelry and handcrafted ornaments, mostly created by hand by artists and studios in the U.S.

Wildflower Concert Series

For more than 41 years, the Wildflower Concert Series has presented quality music in a natural amphitheater, surrounded by majestic pines and sweet breezes.

Historic White Mills

From the restoration of a worker’s house to the relocation of the fire hall, work continues to save the glass heritage and history of the people of White Mills.
