2024 Wildflower Concert Series

As an open-air outdoor music festival held among majestic pine trees and green ferns on the grounds of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary in White Mills, Pennsylvania, we are fortunate to have the best location to enjoy the amazing performers that grace our stage. Seating is on the grass in our natural graded amphitheater, so please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on as chairs are not provided. Picnics and beverages of your choice are permitted at all outdoor concerts.

All concerts are held on Saturday evenings, except the July 19 and August 2 Wednesday evening concerts. All concerts begin at 6 p.m. The seating area in the amphitheater opens at approximately 5 p.m., or whenever the artists have completed their sound check and rehearsal. Seating is on a first-come basis.

We hope you will enjoy the two extra mid-week concert this season. Not only are there nine concerts instead of seven, but the Wednesday events will hopefully enable those who work on Saturdays to attend a concert.

In the event of inclement weather, we move performances to the air-conditioned auditorium of the Wallenpaupack Area High School, Hawley, PA. The school does not allow food and beverages in the auditorium.

If in doubt of the location on the day of a concert, call 570-253-5500 after 12 p.m. or visit online at www.wildflowermusic.org for current info.

The Wildflower Amphitheater is located on the grounds of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary on Long Ridge Road in White Mills PA.

The village of White Mills lies halfway between Hawley and Honesdale on Route 6. At the blinking light in White Mills, turn at the Dorflinger Factory Museum and go up the Elizabeth Street hill. Proceed for 6/10 of a mile to the stop sign. Continue for another 1/10 mile to the entrance of the Sanctuary on your right.

Food! Glorious Food!

Don’t forget that food and beverages (including wine and beer) are permitted at all concerts, except if at the indoor venue.

We encourage you to pack a picnic; order takeout from one of our great, local restaurants, food stores or delis; or you could create your own charcuterie board with local artisanal cheeses, smoked meats and local produce. Pair these with some of our regional wines and local brews for the perfect complement to a Wildflower concert!

If you feel daring, dress as a squirrel and grab some food from a fellow concert-goer. Just make sure they’re absorbed in watching the performance.

*(If the concert has to be moved indoors to the Wallenpaupack Area High School auditorium, please note there is no food allowed in the school)
